Even more from the vault. Digging deep into my collection of Swedish magazines from the 1970s. This time it´s Colorod #3, 1973.
Swedish choppers were high quality builds already in those days. I always loved the white pan in the middle picture.
The Norton at the bottom is kind of weird though
I do not watermark my scans because I think it´s ugly and the pictures aren´t really mine to start with, I just scan them from old mags and publish them. So, feel free to steal and reblog my scans, but please do not put your own watermarks on them, and please remember to tell them where you found them! Thanks!
Here´s yet another bunch of fabulous Swedish choppers from the golden age. All (again) from the magazine Colorod, this time issue 2 1971 (and actually the second issue ever). Click for bigger versions.
Take a good look at the yellow Triumph at the bottom of the post... the assymetric molded tank and paint job, the crazy high bars, open primary, extended harley springer, sky high pipes and sizzy bar... so weird and oh sooo coool...

When I was a kid, my dad and I used to go watch ice racing in the winter. It was really cool (and cold)! They used to race on a lake not far from where we lived. I think these pictures, from my dads photo-album, are older than from the time we went together... I´m old, but I´m not that old...
More from the Swedish magazine Colorod of the early to mid 1970s. This time I´m not sure what issue or year since the scans are of lose page. I read these magazines over and over and over again as a kid, and some of them are totally in pieces, but at least I never threw any of them away. The shovel was from my hometown Gävle. Enjoy.
